- Buying same shoe size every time:
Many of us always buy same shoe size even from childhood. This might be a reason for feet hurt. If you’ve never measured the size of foot then you’ve to do this. Feet size can increase with the passage of time, health problems, and pregnancy. It is better to check feet size instead of buying the same size every time that make you feel hurt.
- You lost or gained weight:
It is true weight of person matters a lot for shoe size. Whenever you either got or lose 10 pounds, it will expand or contract foot muscles. This is a reason you have to measure your shoe size again and choose one with comfort. Few extra pounds may not make a huge difference in jeans fitting but the shoe can make a bigger impact.

We all believe that high heels cause a lot of foot pain but you always have to careful with flats. Select the one shoe that doesn’t hurt your toe. The doctors recommend avoiding pointed tips shoes that cause crowding in the forefoot. Sorry to say but heels that are too high also cause feet hurt.
- You hurt your knee or back:
It may be surprising to you but this is true. If you feel pain while walking then it causes problems to your feet also. When you put too much weight on one side then it either causes inflammation to joints. So if you have unexplained back or hip pain then it causes a problem to foot. The best solution towards this problem is to take plenty of rest and rub ice.
- You remain barefoot all the time:
Don’t want to put shoes when you want to enjoy the beauty of life? Never does this as your shoes absorb the shock when you walk on the hard surface. But walking barefoot causes a problem to feet. Shoes also help to support joints of the foot and allow them to move in fluid, neutral position. If you live barefoot most time then you’ll absolutely risk foot injury.

So you are working as receptionist or order taker in the restaurant. You have to spend more time in standing position and it will also be a reason for pain. We are not kidding standing more than 10 hours cause worse pain and even swelling also. If your profession requires you to stand all the day then try anti-inflammatory like rolling a cold.
